Many system updates and maintenance activities also occur outside of business hours to minimize disruption to students, faculty, and staff.

Behind the Scenes: Infrastructure Matters

Every system on campus depends on a strong technology foundation.

ITS Systems and Networks teams support:

  • Campus Wi-Fi, wired network, and VPN access

Wow! Check out the results of the awesome campus cleanup work accomplished by the IT Services team of volunteers prior to the beginning of fall semester classes.

In the span of several hours on Friday, August 20, the IT Services team pitched in and made a noticeable difference by cleaning up the outside areas at Nanotech, Dickinson Hall and Ross Hall! IT Services, along with the tools and equipment provided by Facilities Management, carried out an organized effort to remove dead bushes, trim back vegetation, rake and remove pine needles, and  pick up any trash.

Positive feedback has been received from many of the buildings’ employees who shared their appreciation for the IT Services endeavor.

Their achievement illustrates what can be accomplished with a bit of planning and organization that really makes a positive impact in helping keep our campus beautiful.
