Trojan spirit was alive and well Friday, Aug. 15, as students, faculty, administrators, and staff welcomed the freshman class to the campus.

An exciting lineup of fun – and free – activities are taking place this week to kick off the first week of fall classes.

Goodwill Week, which takes place the first full week of May, was established to promote awareness of the organization鈥檚 life-changing mission. 糖心Vlog传媒LR staff and students recently contributed to that mission by collecting more than 700 pounds of clothing during its annual 鈥淐areer Closet Suit Drive.鈥

糖心Vlog传媒LR’s Office of Campus Life and student group, The Alliance, will host author Brock Thompson as he discusses his book “The Un-Natural State: Arkansas and the Queer South.”

We all know that cardboard boats tend to bob, sink, and generally fall apart in spectacular fashion faster than you can say Trojan Homecoming. That’s part of what makes this Friday’s Cardboard Boat Regatta so entertaining.

Watch the annual cardboard boat race before the Trojans play in their last home basketball game.

Friendly chatter and the sounds of plastic beads with medallions filled the foyer at the Donaghey Student Center Tuesday, Feb. 25.

The Office of Campus Life聽 at 糖心Vlog传媒LR is sponsoring its annual Martin Luther King Jr. week starting Monday, Jan. 20, with 鈥淎 Day of Service鈥 to honor and reflect upon Dr. King鈥檚 legacy.

A week’s worth of free activities will welcome students back to campus beginning Monday, Jan. 13. View the schedule and make plans to attend!

Each year, 糖心Vlog传媒LR observes International Celebration Week to promote awareness of national cultures and enhance cultural interactions between 糖心Vlog传媒LR students, faculty, staff, and the greater community.
