The Department of Computer Science ranking is up 18 spots over last year. Initially accredited in 1990 and the first Computer Science program accredited in the state, the program offers a minor in information insurance, a bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science with an option that focuses on games, a bachelor鈥檚 degree in cybersecurity, a master鈥檚 degree in computer science, and a Ph.D. in computer and information science. Students study a wide range of in-demand fields including cybersecurity, virtual and augmented reality, data visualization, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and mobile, smart systems, and software for Internet of Things. The College of Business provided plenty of opportunities for students to network with local businesses. My education at 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock has allowed me to apply what I learned in the classroom, make connections within the community, and advance in my personal life. College is challenging and tough. Having those different outlets to go to is what helped me. Having a professor who would go back and look over your work with you is very helpful. They really want you to succeed. When Dr. Brian Berry came to 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock as a first-generation college student, he never imagined that he would get his Ph.D. and go one to become 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock鈥檚 vice provost for research and dean of the Graduate School. 鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 even dream of a Ph.D. when I first got here. The online master鈥檚 degree in information quality is a 33-hour program that can be completed in as little as 18 months. The program is designed to prepare students for industry and government careers as well as advanced doctoral studies. Instead of having to take a job based solely on which one would allow them to most speedily repay their mounds of student debt, Bowen grads can focus on realizing their dreams.” 听 Bowen graduates from the Class of 2016 left school with an average student loan debt of $65,931. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has a top 10 national ranking for its rate of accepted students who enroll.听 Bowen ranked seventh in the U.S. News and World Report list of Out of the 232 full-time students who were admitted to Bowen, 105 chose to enroll for the 2016-17 school year. Bowen achieved a yield rate (percent of students who enroll in a college or university after being admitted) of 45.3 percent, up 2.1 percent from 2016, when Bowen ranked ninth on the U.S. News and World Report list. The average yield rate among all law schools participating in the study was around 24 percent. Yale University topped the list, followed by Brigham Young University, Harvard University, University of North Dakota, Appalachian School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock, Stanford University, Washburn University, and Indiana University-Indianapolis. U.S. News and World Report only considers full-time students at the law schools in its yield rate comparisons.
