April 2025 is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Sexual Assault Awareness Month calls attention to the fact that sexual abuse, assault, and harassment are widespread and impact every person and community. SAAM aims to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate the campus community about prevention efforts (, 2025). This year for SAAM, the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Office of Title IX has the following events planned.

Title IX Talks: Title IX Talks are short, focused programs that provide information on specific aspects of Title IX to the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Campus Community. To increase accessibility, they will be offered via Zoom. Each program will last approximately 30 minutes and be recorded and posted on the Title IX website for reference.

Bystander Intervention Training

In Partnership with Student Affairs, Wellness and Inclusion聽

  • Learn to recognize harassment and other potentially hostile situations, and safely intervene to prevent escalation. Intervention is an effective means to safely interrupt antagonistic situations, harassment, and sexual assault, which can disrupt the potential for violence.

Do You know the Signs? Learn About the Signs of Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships

  • Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 1-2:30 p.m., DSC Leadership Lounge
  • 100% of us are in relationships, and we all can learn how to be better in our relationships.聽 This workshop will incorporate the 10 signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships to help you navigate all types of relationships in your life.聽

In addition, the Office of Title IX will have information tables in the Donaghey Student Center, Reynolds Business Building Atrium, and Bowen Law School.
